Craig Martin

Craig Martin is the Managing Director of the Wealth and Lending group that includes the Wealth Management, Auto Finance and Home Lending practices. In addition to overall responsibility for Wealth & Lending he also leads the company’s home lending practice, including benchmark research, proprietary tracking, consulting and performance improvement initiatives. During his tenure at J.D. Power, Mr. Martin has also served as the Wealth Management practice lead and led various cross-industry initiatives. Mr. Martin is the author of numerous articles and reports on the evolving foundations of customer experience; links between customer satisfaction and business success and key challenges facing the Financial Services industry. In 2016, he was named to HousingWire Magazine’s Rising Stars list recognizing 50 young leaders energizing the housing economy. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and frequently quoted in leading consumer and financial services publications. Mr. Martin’s career spans over 20 years in the financial services, customer experience and research industries. Prior to joining J.D. Power in 2012, Mr. Martin held roles at BBVA Compass and Regions Financial Corporation in both consumer / private banking and business / commercial banking, with a focus on customer experience, research, analytics and strategy. Previously, he was one of the key founding team member of Infosurv Inc. a national online market research firm and supported and advised a variety of fortune 500 firms while at Aspect Communications, a leading contact center and workforce optimization solutions provider. Mr. Martin received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia.
