Ranking can be added to a run to quickly identify areas of strength or opportunity compared to relevant competitors.
In order to add ranking to a cross table run:
- Select the desired variables in the rows, columns and filters
- Go to the calculations tab and the rank menu
- Enable ranking
- Select the rank direction to be applied to the whole run (high to low or low to high)
- Set the run to rank between rows or columns
- Select the rank object (this is particularly important when variables are nested in the rows or columns)
- Show only rank values can be toggled on if desired
- Show number of ranked values as a suffix can be added if desired
- Select where the rank will be shown
- Generate the table
