Filters and Subsets can be utilized to drill down into the data and perform analysis at any level. After adding variables to rows and columns, you can generate the table immediately or apply filters to your data limiting the output by the desired variable. In order to add a filter, in the Rows, Columns and Filters tab, drag and drop the desired variable to the filter field or right click on the desired variable and select ‘Add filters.’ From there click on the x of x selected area of the filter variable and select the desired filter response options by clicking on them.
Subsets can be added in much the same way. To limit the response options shown in the output, click on the x of x selected in the desired row or column variable and highlight the desired responses by clicking on them.
